Ardnamurchan AD Single Malt Scotch Whisky: A Dram Worth Dancing For!

Deep in the Scottish Highlands, Ardnamurchan Distillery boasts a deep-rooted history dating back to 1826. The distillery is now in the hands of Alex Bruce, a descendant of Whisky pioneer Andrew Usher. It's a testament to tradition and innovation, surviving the Great Gorbals Disaster and later reviving the Adelphi name in 1993. Their mascot, the Dancey Man, embodies the joy of savoring their top-quality whiskies.

Ardnamurchan AD is the distillery's core single malt release! A superb blend of unpeated and peated Spirits aged in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. Experience the Highlands with every sip, blending coastal notes with peat, fruits, and marshmallows. It's an official bottling from this beacon of traditional Whisky production. Raise a glass with the Dancey Man and toast to exceptional Whisky!

Peat & Fruit

Itโ€™s peaty whisky to be sure, with mild completing notes of sherry & fruit. Slight notes of chocolate too

Not for me, too much of things I don't like and too little of anything I do like.

Smells like a campfire. I get a hint of peat and salty brine up front that transitions quickly to a long smooth sweet note that lingers. Ordinarily I'm not a fan of peated whisky. This is alright.

Quite smoky, a little phenols, some apple and a finishing burn. Maybe too much Scotch for me who is more of an Irish drinker.
