Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the dramatic reenactment of a pre-Prohibition era Rye-making. It’s a remarkable collaboration between Todd Leopold and heaps of unassuming old documents he researches for fun.
That’s how he discovered the widespread usage of Three Chamber Stills at the turn of the 19th century, soon after he rediscovered Rye. Tod & co. managed recreated the still, cultivated the perfect Abruzzi rye rich in oils, and the result is full-bodied fluid with drop-dead gorgeous taste. A one-of-a-kind concept taking the best bits of the past and applies them to a sustainable future.
